SALEM’S EXPECTED SCHOOLWIDE LEARNING RESULTS (ESLR’S)
At Salem, we take pride in our well-rounded and accomplished student body. As members of the school community, each student is expected to embody the following traits:
- COMMITTED CHRISTIANS
- ACADEMICALLY COMPETENT
- CREATIVE AND CRITICAL THINKERS
- RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS
- EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATORS
Salem Lutheran School offers two levels of honor roll: gold and silver. In order to receive gold honors, students must earn a cumulative GPA 0f 3.75 and above. To receive silver honors, students must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.5-3.74. *Citizenship impacts honor roll: A grade of Satisfactory (S) makes a student ineligible for honor roll.
CITIZENSHIP GRADING SCALE
O (outstanding) = 0 instances, V (very good) = 1 instance, S (satisfactory) = 2 instances, N (needs improvement) = 3 instances, U (unsatisfactory) = 4 instances. Students who receive a U are ineligible for honor roll.
